Privately, Matthew teaches the following lessons to children and adults:

• Clarinet
• Bass Clarinet
• Alto Saxophone
• Tenor Saxophone
• Recorders (all types)
• Whistles

Matthew has also given lessons in music theory for the Grade 5 ABRSM exams. Private tutoring for composition, music history, conducting and orchestration is also available - please enquire for details.

He has delivered youth workshops at Sidmouth, Broadstairs and Towersey Folk Festivals as part of the Shooting Roots programme and recently to MA students from the Music Department of Sheffield University in performing in the English instrumental tradition.
