Ceilidhography is an English ceilidh band based in Telford, Shropshire. Matthew is a founder member of the band, first begun in 2002 by a couple of ex-morris dancers and a tuba player. Matthew is currently taking a sabatical from the band, but looks forward to returning in the summer of 2012.

The music is an eclectic mix of English traditional tunes and modern composed tunes in the same style, led by melodeon, fiddle, sax and recorder, mixed with different grooves and styles from their combined experience of rock, reggae, jazz and world music.

They've performed at a variety of events around the uk, including well-recieved performances at Shrewsbury and Bromyard festivals and also in Frankfurt, Germany. They can be booked for weddings and parties and their in-house caller Cate Bannister has a wealth of experience at getting first-time ceilidh goers dancing.
